Experience

I have been working as a psychotherapist for fifteen years. Working in private practice, I have developed an efficient method of supporting clients struggling with depression, relationship and life crises. My mental health experience allows me also to take referrals from clients experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.

I see my private clients in Pimlico and Kensington. In addition to it, I teach on the master programme in psychotherapy at the Gestalt Centre / London Metropolitan University and at other psychotherapy training centres in the UK and Bulgaria, Georgia and Poland. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in mental health, managing a supported housing scheme and a day centre.

I further my knowledge and experience by regularly attending conferences, trainings and workshops in Europe and North America.

Method

Working as a psychotherapist, I keep a good balance between challenging and supporting clients. I work with experimentation paying attention to and inviting movement and sensations clients may feel in their bodies. It is a creative approach where you and I may experiment with creative forms of expressing feelings and attending to the felt sense.

I develop deep and honest relationships with clients whilst maintaining professional boundaries. My approach is based on Integrative and Gestalt therapeutic modalities with a strong focus on integrating body and mind and relationality.

I pay attention to diversity and power to support my clients in becoming aware and familiar with their identities.

Although occasionally some session can be held online, I only accept clients who can usually come for offline face to face meetings at one of my locations.

My techniques are described more widely on pages Relational Therapy and Embodied Practice while my stance towards intersectionality is on pages Antiracism and Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity.
